Small capped-resist in polka dot pattern

Technique: Ko-boushi Shibori - Small capped-motif bound- resist simulates water drops, Western polka dots,  or other playful gestural motifs found in world cultures including in the contemporary art of Yayoi Kusama. Process illustrations are from the book “Shibori: The Inventive Art of Japanese Shaped Resist Dyeing”  by Wada, Rice, and Barton.
